Indonesia and Japan have shared a friendship for over 65 years, beginning in 1945.
Nowadays, both nations collaborate across trade, investment, technology, culture, human resources, disaster relief etc. The Indonesia-Japan Friendship is more than national interest. Its built on mutual respect, the spirit of working together to build peaceful and prosperous Asia.
This Event is the 18th year since it was first held in 2008. The number of visitor increased for over 150,000. Making it one of the largest Indonesian Festival in Japan. With the support of many people from both country together with Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, we are commited to bring the joy featuring arts and cultural exchange, business matching, exciting entertainment for the visitor, and an authentic of Indonesia cuisine.

Festival Programs
Music and Arts Performance
This event will feature Musical and Artistic Performance representing prestigious Indonesia – Japan arts and cultural exchange, refined entertainment for the Indonesian Community and visitor.
Authentic Indonesian Cuisine
Cultural promotion program that introduces authentic Indonesian cuisine. Featuring signature menu like rendang, sate, and nasi goreng empowering Indonesia`s MSME culinary diversity and spices.
Cosplay Festival
Celebrating collaboration of Japanese pop culture and Indonesian creativity. This program provide a platform for cosplayer from both countries to perform and parade.
Speech Contest
Educational and cultural program that promotes cross-cultural understanding between Indonesia and Japan. Participant will deliver speech in Japanese and Indonesian on themes such as bilateral relation, youth exchange and cultural diversity.
Business Matching
Stategic platform to connect Indonesian talent with Japan Industry that facing labour shortages. This program facilitates B2B meetings HR Agencies with Japanese Company, Job matching sesion and career talks.
Stamp Rally Competition
Visitor collect stamp from the stamp check point and win the prizes!
